Turn boring deviled eggs into deviled ducks!
I saw them over at kidsrecipe blog and knew they would be fun to make. The head is pear scooped with a melon baller (although the original recipe calls for cucumber, I didn't have any and thought pear would work just as good - appearance-wise anyway), the beak is a small piece of carrot and I used black sesame seeds for the eyes (you can find them in some Asian food markets).
Aren't these just so cute?
