Willow's Lunch

Yesterday I was so excited when yet more bento toys arrived in the mail from Japan. Two of which are included in this lunch box: the little bucket with handle holding some grape halves and the sandwiches made using a sandwich cutter and sealer. Along with these she had some cucumber and carrots and some ducky eggs. I had seen these around on the net. Aren't they cute? I used black sesame seeds for the eyes and little carrot beaks.

Only two more days left on my Easy Lunch Box giveaway so if you haven't entered for your chance to win, now's the time to do so!

The bucket is sooo cute! Love the egg creation. I think Bento making requires a lot of creativity and you sure have them!

How creative! I just love these very inspired lunches. Your children must be so excited to eat. Do they ask if they can help you? By the way, we have something in common. I'm from Connecticut too!

I'm now following you back! Your two children are beautiful. I suppose Ryder would be too young to want to make lunches yet (lol) but I'm sure Willow LOVES them. Too cute.

Awesome egg chickies! And I love the way you cut the cucumbers and carrots. Is that a special knife or mandoline slicer?

Thanks! It was actually a wavy vegetable knife thing I bought at a kitchen store not long ago. Similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/MSC-International-Jo-Vegetable-Knife/dp/B001VE4K78/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1279822079&sr=8-15 It's good for cutting potato slices or crinkle cut fries too!
