Here they are with little raisins (snipped) for eyes and rolled sugared candy for red mouths. Also, watermelon top right and pretzels on the left with a cheese triangle.
Today she had a friendly butterfly ham sandwich (inspired by Susan Yuen) with cheese and bologna accents and some grapes.

These are so cute, Kelly! I love the faces on the sandwiches, and I bet fruit rollups would work for mouths, too. Is the container holding the butterfly lunch a sandwich container? I've seen them hanging up as impulse buys at the grocery store and wonder if they make good bento boxes...
These lunches are adorable. I'm now happily following you from Tuesday Tag-Along. Oh, you make perfect parenting look so easy...I hope I'll be this inspired when my little tot (he's only 23 months at the moment) goes off to school. What a great blog! Happy Tuesday!
Sonoma: yes, it's a sandwich container and I have wondered the same thing! I have actually seen a few bentos in them and they look lovely.
Mommy spirit: thank you for your sweet words! I am very far from a perfect parent hah.I really enjoy making food fun. It'll be good when your son gets to that picky stage also.
How cute! I love the Willow's Lunch posts :)
