I stayed home today because the weather wasn't too good. Not raining, just a bit gloomy. Kind of like my mood. Little things getting under my skin! I made 3 mini banana loaves in the morning (two of which are above) to go in the freezer, organized my kitchen junk draw (it was getting so you couldn't close it!), ran around after Willow and then, after dinner, I tried out a new recipe for rhubarb crumble (as shown below). Just had a craving for rhubarb! I should have used my white sugar recipe for crumble instead of the brown sugar in the recipe. I didn't care for the caramelised taste it gave paired with the tart fruit. Anyway, here's a few pics.
I stewed the rhubarb in a simple syrup to soften it a little before baking.

yummy! yesterday i brought a smaller bread tin for my banana bread as the one i have been using is to big and bread was not coming out nice and square, but still tasted good lol!
