More roses

I made this cake for a friend's birthday party. Last time I made a cake this large it turned out OK but a little on the dry side so this time I really wanted to try to avoid that. I made two 9 x 13 inch cakes (one choc, one white choc) and put them together side by side. And the result was a lovely moist cake. I didn't try any myself but a few people asked me how I made such a moist cake! Yay. The roses were made out of royal icing (as well as the little apple blossoms along the bottom) so I could do those ahead of time and it really saved me! The only thing i'm not thrilled with is the writing on the cake. I need to practise more there!
